D-Feast Friday

Click HERE to see the complete list!!

I'm starting a new tradition here at Sweet to the Soul.  Friday's will now be dedicated to FOOD!  D-friendly food.
(well, most of the time it will be d-friendly food)

Each Friday I will post my one of my favorite D-recipes or a new recipe I have recently tried.  Since I love to cook and try new recipes I thought this would be fun to share with all of you!

Lorraine over at This is Caleb, has been doing this for a while and I am jumping on her bandwagon!  Just so you all don't think this was my great original idea or anything.  I'm giving credit where credit is due.  :)

Click on the D-Feast Link to the side to find more great recipes!

Today We have Grandma's Sloppy Joe's, One of my personal favorites!  Enjoy!

Ingredients:
2lbs Ground beef
1 med onion, diced
8 oz of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup vinegar, optional
1-1/3 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
2 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Brown meat and drain.  Add onion, tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.  Combine and simmer for 20 minutes.  Serve on buns. Enjoy!

I haven't had sloppy Joe's in years Heather. I think Bridget and Joe will like them too. I am sooo gonna do this one...once I am done with this work stretch in a week and a half. Thanks for sharing.

I think I was 10 the last time I had sloppy joes, and I remember I LOVED them. And this recipe looks SO good! It's time to introduce the boys to the sloppy goodness!

Woohoo! Thanks for getting on the DFeast wagon, Heather! I'm going to get back on track this Friday. Thank goodness people have kept it going while I've taken a little snooze.

But I don't see yours on the list! I'm going to add it now - or am I looking at it and just not seeing it?
